Saban is probably apolitical, or a Sabatarian.
He doesn't hit me as the type who gives a tinker's damn about politics unless it will help him in recruiting.
(Entering house #1 of 5-star whose folks have an Obama picture on the wall.) "Yes, Maam. I think we were all ready for a change.
(House #2 of 5-star whose folks still have fading "W" stickers on their vehicles.) "I really hope we can take back Congress in the midterms. I've had enough change."

Does anyone really doubt that he's far far more competent than the guys who are running for governor? The fact that he's a Democrat (apparently) is just the icing on the cake, I'd vote for him even if he was a Republican.
Can you imagine the things that would get done if he and Dale Peterson teamed up?
