what a dumbass. So he's giving a commencement speech, and he can't let it be about the kids, just this one single day. quote:

Other than that, if that fat fricker had a massive M.I. and died right in front of me, I would reach in my pocket, pull out my wallet, remove my Paramedic License, rip it up into tiny pieces and sprinkle them down upon his fat dead arse. frick that fat SOB and the Rhinoceros he road in on!

Generally the speaker speaks about what THEY did in the past and how the kids can use that in their future.

I have been to many commencement speeches, and typically, the good speakers manage to convey their own experiences in a way that isn't so egocentric and bitter. I would think being a Davidson fan, you'd be able to tell the difference.

This one does. He's referring to John Adams, the sports-editor, who also writes weekly columns for the News Sentinel. I think he's an Alabama alumn, anyways he bashed Phil almost on a weekly basis.
