Georgia quarterback Logan Gray, after considering the possibility of transferring to another school for the past few weeks, has decided to remain at UGA.
Gray informed coach Mark Richt of his decision today.
The plan going forward is for Gray to work at wide receiver, as well as quarterback.

He's the F'n backup you idiot. Should every #2 on QB depth charts across the country transfer simply because they're not the starter? And he's already played 2 years, his only options would be transfer 1A and MAYBE start his senior year or go down and play at a 1AA school. I'm sure both of those options were real appealing to him.

I am talking about Richt lying every year to him. That is why he should go somewhere else. Not only just because he is #2 on the depth chart.

Please tell me exactly how he was lied to. Richt has never told the guy he would start. He's only given him the assurance that if he was the best QB he would play. In 2008 we had stafford. Last year we had a 5th year senior. Cox didn't play all that great, I admit, but that should tell you something about Gray. You think our coaches would play Cox, even when he was less than 100% at times, if they didn't feel like he was our best available option? If Gray gave us a better chance to win he would've played, period. Now comes this year and there's a competition all through the spring. Murray, a better, more talented QB, came in and played better the whole spring, leading to him being #1 on the depth chart. If he wants to play he needs to earn it.

Richt has lied to him every year. There was a rumored package last year to get Logan the ball more, When in reality the package was Richt letting him fair catch punts. Now Richt is going to move him to WR were he will be the 10th on the depht chart..I feel bad for him but his moronic reason as to stay and hold a clip board.

Go to/went to Southern, huh? A little penis envy? It's ok, I've been to statesboro a couple times. I completely understand the jealousy.
ETA: A. He got on the field a couple of times against SC and it was clear his package sucked as did his ability to read a defense.
B. The reason Murray didn't come in for cox is because he was hurt. Tendonitis in his shoulder. How many times must we go over this?

Since you apparently have the inside scoop on the program by knowing exactly what Richt has or hasn't told a player, you should surely know that Murray had a hyperextended elbow last year. He didn't even throw in pregame warmups for a month, and didn't actually get to where he could actually play as a normal QB until there were about 4 games left. Kinda meaningless to burn his shirt for 4 games don't ya think?
