I'm not sure why you keep taking this angle.

If Arkansas wins or ties the West in 2010, it will be their 5th time doing it in 19 years. That would be a hair more than once every 4 years. How many times has Ole Miss done this since 1992? In other words, Arkansas has reason to believe landing the #1 spot in the West is feasible. We've done it 4 times with far less talent, far weaker coaching and a much tougher schedule. Ole Miss, not so much.

Ole Miss was also a Top 5-10 preseason team in '09 and a heavy favorite to win the West (8 of 12 pubs posted last week had picked Ole Miss). Arkansas' highest pre-season ranking thus far is #14, with most being between #18-#24, with no one picking Arkansas to win shite.

Now, if you want to cling to the comments and posts by the radical fringe, or 12 year old kids with internet access, be my guest. But 99.9% of Arkansas fans are calling for an 8-10 win season, a warm weather bowl and a possibility of jumping up to 1st in the West with a little fortune.

I'm starting to find you to be one of the irritating, or stupid, posters on this board.

Five times in 19 years is nothing to be proud of,first off. Now on to this upcoming season. Arkansas could easily start off the season 2-2 (0-2) before their open week. But, more realistically y'all will be 3-1 (1-1) . Don't sleep on aTm in Arlington because with that piss poor defense that suits up for Arkansas y'all could easily lose (Arkansas allowed nearly 400 yards of total offense last year).

To sim it up quickly, I don't believe the hype in Arkansas or Mallet for that matter. Y'all will have a chance to prove me wrong, but i don't that will happen.

Arkansas goes 9-3 at best in the regular season.
