Last week, Orton’s father said that his freshman son would test the NBA draft waters without signing with an agent. Orton then said that he hadn’t made any decision and that he was still weighing his options. He has since said that he’s heading to California which means that he will indeed check his draft status.
I’m not sure what’s wrong with that. If you had MILLIONS of potential dollars on the one hand… and a possible career-ending injury on the other… shouldn’t you at least weigh your options?
Not according to a Big Blue fan named Mark Hamilton. That fellow took to Orton’s own Facebook page to send him a misspelled, poorly written message on the subject:

wondered how long it was going to take for this to show up here? One idiot fan does not make a fan base. All fanbases have a few of these whackos. Check out TCP and see how this guy was looked
up and people found out where he worked and they posted a disclaimer on April 4th.

Looking at the time that he posted that shite to Orton, he was likely drunk. Nevertheless, 95% of our fan base would never think of doing such an asinine thing.

I have read most of the threads on Catspause, and it seems that the family went on the news and said he was drunk and sorry. This guy has a bigger target on him than Steve Bartman does.

I'm actually glad that every school in the SEC thinks this guy is an idiot. Fans like this piss me off. BTW, I don't know if the OP had Daniels response. He said Thanks Mark.
