you act like this is a bad thing. Would you rather say hey go ahead commit and take your visits but then when a higher ranked kid of the same position wants in they pull the scholly, because that is essentially what a coach would have to do to protect his recruiting class. I understand wanting to deflect from the kids behavior but asking someone to take all yor visits before committing is not a bad thing and fair for both sides. This writer is reaching. Is he a beat writer for Auburn or something?

I guess he doesn't realize Bama has double the National Championships, as Auburn has SEC Championships in the last 19 years. But by all means.. carry on the bashing.

Where in that did Saban say anything bad about another coach trying to get a player? He is simply stating that a kid should not commit if he is not truly ready to give his three or four years to that school. He did not say that coaches should not "poach" committed players. He said dont commit if you feel there is a chance you might not go to that school. That is just my opinion on it...

I'm glad you find that funny. We apologize for having a great recruiter who is also a great coach. Meanwhile, The University of Auburn has a coach like Lane Kiffin who continues to fall upward. If only other schools awarded 5-19 records with better job offers.
