John Clay is the best sports journalist the Herald Leader has, and he's usually pretty tame. He just went off on this piece though.

I'm fairly certain that everyone knows that. Maybe he was taking a shot at the Saints at the same time, in a strange way.

As talented as uk is, they won't win national title. If they come out like they did in beginning of game, there down by 15 easily to a top 25 team.

This guy is a hack.
He's right on the account that our BB team is sorry.
But this piece looks as if a fan wrote it; not a professional journalist.
But I'll remember to contact him when the NCAA comes calling and yesterday's win is vacated.

Actually, he's not. He's normally a very good journalist. That was partially what I thought was funny about this particular piece. He's one of the best in the state with the exception of this.

Is there any coach in college basketball less likeable than John Calipari? And the amazing thing is, I guarantee UK (like UT with Kiffin) is going to be outraged when he leaves amidst another major violation.

Theres really no reason to write something like that unless you are a dick/douche. Really cant justify it. But once a team starts winning. thats what happens to their fans. Unavoidable.
