wasn't the word on this kid early on that he would be offered as a lineman, but not as a TE, and he basically said 'no thanks'?
maybe now he realizes he wouldn't get a chance at TE at Auburn no matter what they told him, and he's willing to go to OL and let Arkansas know it.
just my guess.
