Guys don't worry about missing out on Allen its not that big a deal I agree the guy has talent, but one player is not going to make or break this class. We have just been spolied these past 2 years of getting pretty much anyone the coaching staff targeted.
This class was more about adding speed and adding depth at DB which we did. I also wanted to say the 2011 class will be better than the 08 and 09 classes, so dont worry and lets enjoy another top 5 class and our National Championship! RTR!

Fans bitching about a top 5 class is a good sign your program's at the top of the heap.

I'm amazed at the amount of "patting on the back" being doled out to Tide fans by the AU fans. WTF is going on???

i mean, i'm all for "rallying the troops" and such... but in all honesty man, threads like these make us seem or feel upset or desperate or something that we aren't.
i think the last 2 years of awesome recruiting classes has really screwed our perception up about this part of the process that is college football (not just Saban football.)
i mean, the bottom line is that it sucks that we missed out on this physical specimen. but it would be a useless specimen if his heart wasn't ALL crimson. we gain nothing but putting randomly talented individuals on the field. we gain everything by putting together a team that works as ONE unit...
it's more about how they work together than it is a few badass recruits. let me coin something here.... that's a Bear Bryant fact!...
