What is it with the Barners and Recruiting???

Everytime a recruit sneezes in their direction, they come post it.
Don't get me wrong, I follow recruiting pretty close, but DAMMMNNNN. The Barners post a thread about every detail they stumble across.
Here's some hints...
1. If a recruit commits, you can post it.
2. If a recruit has shown interest, you can post it ONCE, then leave it alone until something substantial happens. (I don't need to know that Lattimore posted on his facebook that he took a shite and one of his turds reminded him of Auburn, and that insiders think this may sway him towards the Barn because his favorite cartoon character is Hanky the Christmas Poo.)
3. If a recruit gains status (receives an extra star, does well in a all american game, etc.) you can post it.
4. Do NOT post every recruit that has you listed as a top five. If all the Ranters did this, there would be no more space on the Rant.
And believe it or not, I like getting updates about other SEC teams recruiting, but lay off some Barners, if it isn't big news, let it go.

Barners are number 1 at Facebook stalking.
Auburn CPA let me know that we were going to get a prospect two days before the Ole Miss rivals site had anything about it.

Well, when your team is not at the top, recruiting is usually where you begin when clawing your way back up there.
I bet if you UA fans can think back a little, (very not so distant past) you can remember when you got excited over recruiting, because you did not have much else to talk about besides building a base for what you hoped would be a competitive and exciting future.
Now, if we could just start cutting back on those BAMA circle-jerk threads we would be in great shape.

One more thing, look at every post about Auburn recruits and you will see that Gumps usually have the majority of the replies because they are getting scared.

So, a couple Auburn fans post stuff about recruiting and you get mad and call out the whole fan base?
You need to do what I do with the few bama flamers and go after them and not the complete fan base. It's works better and doesn't drag everyone into a flame war.
BTW- All the rival fans were crying to bring CPA back, so you got what you ask for.

I have no problem with AU posting on their recruiting... They look to have a damn good class coming in and their coaches are working their asses off. They have a reason to be excited. Hell, every Bama fan I know was just as giddy a couple of years ago, for the same reason.
