Come on Freep.. against North Western and it's Tubs fault? Isn't Chizik a Defense Guy?
Oh, Happy New Year my bitter boog friend

Chizik wasn't left with much to work with on D.

I am personally not bitter. We won this game, improved from last year, got a helluva good class coming in, we will see what we can do in year 2 of the Chizik era. Things are looking up. Congrats on a good year Gump. That is all.

We won this game

Yeah and if we had lost, we could've blamed it on fumbles, penalties, Kodi Burns throwing the ball, etc.
Goes both ways bud. Sure we lucked out this time, but it doesn't take away the fact that we pulled out victoriously.

If all that negates. . .it's on the kicker.
Now that I think about it, AU is damn lucky they didn't lose that game in a blowout. Northwestern was definitely the better team on the field.

damn, LSU fans are all about some "ifs" and "buts". shite gets annoying.
I was really impressed with Northwestern today. Seemed like a really disciplined, well coached team. Nice win for Auburn IMO FWIW.

quote:Nearly lost my voice screamin' for LSU yesterday. I know ya don't mean to, but it's pretty easy to see that your comments are painted by the loss. I hate it too, homes. There, there.

Auburn was the better team on the field, as far as talent.
Now, coaching, effort, intangibles NW was superior. Auburn should have ran their arse in the ground and couldn't do it. NW wouldn't quit.

Exactly. AU should have beat them by 30 points even with the depth issues they have. They are losing their best defensive player and their best defensive back. Sounds like it could be another long year for them.

I, for one, am tired of watching him throw while he is in @ the QB / Wildcat position...he makes me want to

Wrong your wrong
Auburn had the game in hand the whole time and had 2 fumbles with 3 minutes left
The game was decided when WM ran the int back 103 yards

We have good players Ted Roof just doesn't know what to do with them

The only people expecting us to win by 30 were people going off of name recognition. To say Northwestern deserved the win and Auburn did not is ludicrous as well and reeks of bitterness.
