At the beginning of the season Randy Peterson, the Iowa State beat writer, said that Chizik would have had a good season this year had he stayed and with the talent brought in it would not be surprising for Rhoads did the same.

no. he is not the coach. he should be credited for auburns bowl run this year. coach rhodes should be credited for iowa st.

he should be credited for everything good that happens there for the rest of his life...seems to happen at another place

Depends on how many players he recruited are starting and contributing. I don't care enough to look it up. You certainly can’t discount his contribution and it may be significant.
