Maybe one of these days your team will actually beat us and you won't have to play in the whogivesashit bowl anymore. Why don't you tell us how awesome your 2011 recruiting class is and how they are going to win you championships?

No, actually you didn't at first. You had to edit your post.

ACLGUMP,
I am not a University of Texas fan. You are obviously a UA-T fan (despite the "Thug U" emblem displayed next to your screen name).
I was comparing the Great Republic of Texas with the state of "Segregation Then, Segegation Now, Segregation Forever" alabama.

This guy TOTALLY agrees that Texas is much more genteel and idyllic than Alabama...

TBH i don't even know what the rest of Alabama even looks like. The only places i ever go is Hoover/Mountain Brook and the campus of UA. I've only lived here for 5 years and TBH i like it. You can make fun of the city of Tuscaloosa all you want because i pretty much only stay on campus.

DevilsAdvocate,
I've read your posts for years. You are a smart poster.
But, Lee Harvey Oswald was from New Orleans...
I think that is in Louisiana.

ACLGUMP,
Bama is a beautiful state, especially the mountains, and my family loves Orange Beach. We own a condo there.
99% of the Bama fans we meet are great to us when we're in our LSU gear.
But, we had an Auburn fan refuse our offer to get under our LSU beach canopy during a heavy rain (while his embarrassed wife and two toddlers did).

I lived in Pensacola for 6 years and i think Orange Beach is nice too. There aren't a whole lot of nice places in Alabama but i think Hoover, Mountain Brook, and some of Mobile is nice. UA's campus is also a really nice place IMO.

Northern Bama is beautiful. I have family in Huntsville.
But, Republic of Texas > State of Alabama.
