Mississippi State will probably be a lot better than Ole Miss in football for the next few years.

Yea, Mullen will do good things while he is there, but he won't be there more than a few years probably. Then MSU will start over again looking for another up and coming DC or OC to take a gamble on as head coach.

I say Ole Miss. MSU doesn't have a QB yet.

We have an awesome 6'5 215 QB (Tyler Russell) who was redshirted this year and we may get Cam Newton.

Which is why I say Ole Miss. Russell have never played in an SEC game, so you never know what you will get.

Which of the Arkansas schools will ever win a championship now that one of them has to contend in a real conference in which it has failed to win anything of significance in the last two decades?

Relax- he hasn't played yet.

Last time I checked, drop-back QBs aren't exactly the perfect fit to run Mullen's offense.

who cares? neither team will ever accomplish anything of note. they will occasionally beat a florida or an alabama, and that will tide them over for a few years. "remember back in 2008 when we beat florida?" that is all the mississippi teams have to look forward to.

Everyone said Anthony Dixon wouldn't fit into Mullen's offense too.

I think it will work out....hopefully.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State will compete for fifth place in the SEC West in 2010, and a spot in the Libery Bowl.

Probably, but don't be surprised if both are bowl eligible.

Nutt's job hunting is bound to catch up with him and Mullen appears to be a pretty good coach/recruiter.

I think State > Ole Miss

I think that the Future for Mississippi State football is a lot brighter than for Ole Miss
