Don't know about Heisman cause you don't know who he will be up against. I do think he will be better than Ingram, though. So, without injuries, it's certainly possible.

He will get a ton of touches next year. If he would have gone to LSU, he would have been "Keiland Williams"ed. He would bust off a huge run, and then never be put back in the game again.

Trent had over 700 yards rushing this season. He'll have even more next year. He'll have the entire show to himself in 2011.

I absolutely cringe whenever I think about how much talent LSU has wasted in that fashion.

He will bin it but it may not be next year. I think we may be about to get on a heismen roll since we were in a 117 year slump. I see us winning 2 more in the next 5 years.

Had Richardson gone to LSU he would have the same number of touches as Ford this year. Better move to go to Bama where they allowed him to play and contribute to their team.

I doubt it, our system is run oriented but its set up to have two running backs split the load to some extent. Obviously it can happen, it just did, but will Trent really "have it all to himself" his junior year or will a RS Sophomore Lacy be getting 8-10 carries a game, maybe more than Trent got this year? Or somebody else.

I mean lets face it in a lot of years Mark probably wouldn't have won it because his stats while great weren't necessarily eye popping. And a lot of that has to do with carries. Gerhart had better stats, he also had 61 more carries.

Off topic but was looking up the stats and I knew that Ryan Matthews kid from Fresno had a great year but wow, he had 1664 yards on 6.8 yards per carry. Ingram had a 6.2 ypc average and Gerhart's was 5.6.

He rode it this year because he is redshirting. If he's as good as advertised, he'll be used alot next year.

GP,

For some reason, the emu image link that you use as your avatar broke. I posted more image links on the fan page.
