Pains me, not gonna lie. I hope LSU can get back to where we were, but until they actually beat Bama on the field I don't think we'll compete for the SECCG anytime soon. I hope Les can prove me wrong but Bama looks like a force for years to come.

I think Les is on a shorter leash than LSU will admit at the moment. If we aren't in hotlanta Dec '10, I think he is let go.

I honestly don't think Les Miles is going to be the answer but if he continues to struggle it wouldn't take the next coach long to compete. Les continues to bring in top recruits. That is the most important thing to keeping a program elite.

Shula brought in some good talent but didn't bring in consistent top 5 level talent. Miles is bringing in top 5 classes every year. I think a coach like Gary Patterson, etc would be able to start winning on day 1.

You've got the talent...just not the coach. I'll enjoy our time at the top as long as it last. College football is cyclic. Don't expect to be down for long....with good coaching LSU can become an immediate force and I hope you do. Just not as good as Bama.

Seeing Bama so dominant was.... absolutely the BEST for me! lol

Yet being my parents only child to be born in Louisiana (the 'Bayou Baby'), I've always had a soft spot for LSU even tho I was raised in TX by a Bama alum.

Things will work out for ya'll. For now tho, I am so enjoying how Alabama Football is looking these days and wish my dad could see how the Tide has turned!

How many Alabama fans were bitching about LSU when they were kicking arse? Get over it.
