Should Alcohol sales be allowed at SEC football games?

We all know the SEC has a ban against alcohol sales in all SEC sporting events. People however bring liquor in to games, and also drink while tailgating before and after games.
The question, I am proposing is will the SEC EVER allow sales at SEC games???? Whenever teams go to bowl games its allowed and also on the road at games like Memphis. So why not at SEC games it could generate a lot of money to the member schools in this time of recession.

I think the SEC should at least allow sales at the SEC Championship game in football, SEC basketball tournament, and SEC baseball tournament as much as fans are paying for their tickets.

Yes. And you know every distributor wants this as well

Any student section would be even more unbearable. Fights would escalate in all areas. Wouldn't be a good situation for older people or young children.

yes, but maybe a 3 beer limit. Fact is most people come in drunk or Tipsy, so shouldnt make it too much for them. That or just make it like $6 per beer and the people that really want it can have it, and those who want to get stupid drunk will pay alot to do so

If you can sneak it in easily and get loaded before the game, why would you want to spend $6 on a cup of watered down bud light from the concession stands?

NFL stops serving after the 3rd quarter, as does C-USA schools like Memphis and Tulane.

I think ti would be a sticky situation. You might be able to get away with it at neutral sites, like the SECCG and tourney locations, but no way would it ever happen on campus. With the sheer number of underage people there, it would open the Universities up to potentially huge lawsuits if something were to happen. Look at the cases where pledges get alcohol poisoning or something in a fraternity incident and the legal issues that come up there. Now imagine that happening in a student section at a football game.

It would make student sections even more awesome and possibly get some of the old people off of their asses.

Have any schools ever sold beer at games before, or has the SEC ALWAYS had it banned.
