...and it was a really good movie.
I think of all the coaches in the movie, Lou Holtz and Ed Orgeron did the best job, the others looked like they were acting.
Kid had a rough life but he is in a great place now and he has a lot of people that really love him. I think he did as much for that family with respect to their growth as they did for him.
All of you should take the time to see the movie if you enjoy things like this.

Yeah I read the book, and it seems like it could be a good movie.

I haven't seen the movie yet; plan on going this week. I think the book will still be much better since it is more about how the left tackle position has shifted the game of football rather than Nick Saban & the various coaching cameos.

The coaches actually have very little to do with the movie. The cameos were nice but definitely not the focus of the movie. You hardly remember they are in it.

Very little of it has to do with the coaches and all. It's More about how Mr.Oher and the Tuohy family interact with one another and actually become his family.

I still can't help but wonder if he would've been in the band and didn't want to play football if the Tuohy's would have taken him in.
I'd like to think so and see the better side of humanity.

My wife and I took our 9 and 10 yr. old children. Even they liked the movie and understood why I wanted them to go.
Very good movie.

He was at the Bus Stop in the snow in shorts and a tshirt. I think they had a good heart.

im going to start doing this. it seems like a pretty profitable investment if you adopt the right kid. I can funnel them to LSU so i can enjoy wins and then get kick backs from having a "kid" in the nfl

Miles is just going to screw their careers up. Send them to Bama.

The Tuohy's were pretty damn wealthy to begin with.

this is true but this will be down the road so LSU should have a new coach by then

This. If I remember correctly in the book it mentions that the Tuohy's own a dozen Taco Bells or something of that nature.

i didn't say it was a way to get wealthy but it doesnt hurt them adding to it.

Yea, they don't need Michael's money.

He owns way more than that...and used to work for westwood one.
