God I hope so. I will do anything I can to assist in this process.

I would be very surprised if that isn't the end of Les Miles at LSU. That was terrible. This program will not overlook this. I have been defending Les for a while, but that was worthy of mutiny. I just hope that the team can get it together enough to win the last two games.

Good point, it'll be really interesting what the emotional fallout will be here on out.

In the immortal words of the great Dan Rather: Its not over, but his backs against the wall, his shirts on fire, and the Bill Collectors knocking on the door.

it could be the final straw with the big money.
Tried to tell everyone in 07. The Auburn game was a lucky win and the dumbest play at the end of a game I can remember. Go back and look at YouTube - he was clueless then about the clock then as well.

2007 made me question him; because they were really lucky to get out with two losses and the national title was just out of this world crazy luck

LSU could have been easily 7-5 in 2007

I guess they could do worse but any rival fan would probably want LSU to keep him which is a good sign that you probably need to move on.

I was CRUSHED when they fired Fulmer. That was a nightmare.

Ditto, his clock management deficit has been a recurring issue throughout his tenure at LSU. Not sure what the AD will do but I am almost certain Coach Miles just lost the fan base.

Or will LSU fans be content with Les Miles in a week, or after the bowl game? I'm only wondering, because the Tiger fanbase is always so bipolar on whether or not they like Miles, that it's hard to believe that this is "it".

Thoughts?

LSU would have to have a convincing win (and good solid coaching) against Arkansas and a good win in a decent bowl (not sure a decent bowl is in the picture now) to calm LSU fans down a bit. This game will live in the minds for many LSU fans for a long time.

Tonight was a circus of errors and embarrassment.

The bowl game will not matter if LSU loses to Arkansas.

Miles will not be fired this year, not a chance.

But this moment will linger into next season and his every move will be under the microscope next year.

We have been livin' on the edge all year ( Miss St., UGA ) and it caught up with us. That said, to spike the ball with one second left is inexcusable.
