Based on his numbers being inferior to Mallett's this year or records?
Is Tebow's rushing numbers inferior? Maybe it's based on his ability to run & throw. He's a big of threat running as throwing and yet defenses still haven't stopped him or his team yet.

Hold up.
It's YOU that will not present a logical case.
I have shown that Mallett has superior numbers, and an instance (Eric Berry) where record makes no difference.
So, please, tell me why YOU think Tebow should earn it. Because of Florida's record? If so, why shouldn't a Florida or Bama defensive player fill Berry's slot as well?

Lets add "he can fly" to "run and throw".
He still has lesser numbers.

Honestly I agree that Tebow will win it just because of hype.
Look at the Heisman race right now. Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow are two of the frontrunners based only on their preseason hype and the team record. They haven't been the best QB's in America.
The awards are a popularity contest and a joke.

yall better hope not. I think he'd be a first rounder this year if he does well in work outs.

yeah, maybe so but i hope the fact that he's only been playing one full year will affect that decision. it's all the talk here, i know that and in interviews they seem to think he won't go but you never know... that's for sure.

Do defenses have to respect Tebow running the ball? What about Mallet's?
BTW, this isn't a knock on Mallet, he is good but it's pretty obvious you want to overlook a big part of Tebow's game.

ok. I'll bite.....and then I'll laugh at you when you post the exact same thread next week.
Tebow deserves 1st Team All-SEC because he is putting up stellar numbers AND is a great icon of a CFB player off the field. All-SEC team honors are given to players to REPRESENT the SEC both on and off the field. Mallett just isn't doing anything to deserve thatmedia love fest. Tebow deserves it because of a mixture between production AND how he represents hisself and the rest of the SEC.
If literally any other QB were playing for UF and had Tebow's exact stats, then I would agree that Mallett deserves it much more. But there isn't and he doesn't.
THAT'S why Tebow deserves 1st team All-SEC.
But feel free to reply with ANOTHER copy/paste like you do every other post.
