LSU...serious question here

When do you guys expect to beat us for the West again? My personal opinion is in 2 years. Next year we lose a good bit on defense, but have been recruiting at an elite level for the last 3 years and if there is a side of the ball to be "weaker" on I rather defense since that's Saban's forte. On offense we have everyone back pretty much with an experienced, senior QB.

Next year. We have been recruiting on an elite level also. Our qb is better and were at home. Oh and we wont have to beat the refs too.

Considering LSU has been recruiting at an elite level for a while I am not sure elite recruiting==on field success.

Seriously, I think it will be a battle every year for the West between Bama and LSU going either way.

A bit presumptive.
Even LSU after 2003 national title was a very vulnerable team even with all the talent Saban brought in.
Injuries are key too - what if Ingram or McElroy go down! Yeah, you may replace that guy with an equally talented player but will they perform in that moment when it is needed most!
