wouldn't mind seeing just a little more fire from Les on the sideline, especially when the team suffers yet another ridiculous call or no-call from the officials.

But you don't have to throw down your headset and mouth a string of obscenities into the camera to get your players attention and respect.

I agree you don't have to scream obscenities, but when your star WR gets injured on a blatant personal foul then you need to be up in that refs face. Maybe not screaming...but in his face. Watching him mope on the sidelines is disgusting.

I'm with you there. Les tore the refs heads off in Knoxville in 2006 after they screwed up that muffed punt by Tennessee. He's done it before.

No flame, i find it hard to believe that some of you guys really want a coach that has averaged 10 wins a year while he has been at LSU gone...

Me too...it boggles my mind. I guess you can't just win...you have to win pretty.

LSU would be the laughing stock of college football if we were to fire Miles after this year. I have come to realize that there are alot of clueless people trolling on the internet.

we have as much talent in the sec as any school and more than most. We should be scoring some points. the offensive scheme needs to be looked at hard. If Miles does not do this, the wolves will start to howl.

LSU needs new direction on offense. Start there.

I do. I think he is a very mediocre coach. Recruited well at first, but now that is starting to slip as other SEC schools have upgraded their staffs. i.e. I don't care if Trovon Reed ever played for LSU....You don't let a player of that quality leave the state. Bottom line. He also fricked up the Lacy and Sentimore situation something awful.

I also believe that he doesn't play the best players. Slowly we are falling back to mediocrity, and that is unacceptable to me considering our facilities, coaches salaries, and location as the only major university in a talent rich area.

Sorry, but I don't want what LSU has become recently to all go to shite. The 90's fricking sucked and I never want to go through that again.

Good post, the Bob. I don't agree with the Lacy and Sentimore post (except that Sentimore was good enough to get a conditional grades offer, and good enough to play either DE or DT and determine which is the better fit later), and Reed has apparently been committed to Taylor and AU since March and made up his mind when he took his entire family up there. What I do agree with is the level of execution and coaching on both lines of play, use of talent on our roster, and the fact that we may lose some big time recruits/commits on our list in the next couple of months.

I let last season slide after seeing the changes. We watched a team with no idea what it was doing on defense, and laughing when missing assignments without obvious consequence. The defense looks really good now except for the DL play now, we can all see.

I don't know what the answers are for the other issues, but I know some folks who can make some answers happen themselves or through friends.

I do. Miles is not getting it done in the money games and is struggling in the b list games ie ole miss and arky. BTW TT12, you realize if Leslie losses his last 2, he will be sub .500 in the SEC in the last two years. I bet the coolaid cult will not give you those figures. He will not be fired this year and lets hope Rich Rod gets his arse spanked by tosu so he could finally leave. I hear Martin Michigan's ad is stepping down this year. If that fails, and Miles losses his last two, he would have to win the sec west next year or should be fired imo.

Go after:
Gruden
Brian Kelly if he doesn't make the mistake and take the obsolete norte dame gig.

No I'm not high. I actually fricking see things for what they are. I'm not living in the purple and gold candy land like you, and so many other people are.

This state is not on lockdown anymore. You'll see. I'll give them a pass on Anthony Johnson because he was going wherever Frank Wilson is, but Risean Broussard? No Excuse. Trovon Reed? No excuse. Janzen Jackson?(before armed robbery) No excuse.

so a new offensive cordinator? how did something that was so good last year(other than the pick 6's) get so bad this year?
Excellent point - if a change is needed I say the o-line needs attention more than anything. Look at our stats/replays from games it is apparent we are not winning the battle consistently at the line of scrimmage.

I don't want him fired, but I do want a good qb coach because Crowton does absolutely nothing to develop them. I also want a new OC. I was not happy with the hire of Crowton and I would be more than happy to see him go.

I don't want him to get fired, I just want him to show some more intensity. He never seems to in an uproar about anything. It seems like the team is adopting the same attitude and doesn't really get fired up about games.

He's still pulling in top 5 classes...therefore, his recruiting is not "slipping"
