I hope we can have a good game this weekend. We have had a few great ones in the past such as 1998. Also why do we always seem to play yall in little rock and not fayetville?

Um never ordered them. Besides I wanted to go to NWA since I've never been and always wanted to.

My first 10 or so games i attended were in Little Rock, so it holds a special place in my heart. It's also louder. Tailgating is slightly better.
But it is too outdated. All the games should be played in Fayetteville now.

Arkansas has a contract w/ Little Rock to play 2 games there a year one being a conference game. LSU and Miss St. are the two conference games that rotate there.
Arkansas entered into the contract due to a lot of big boosters pressuring them to keep games in the Rock.
Also, Corn Dogs and Cowbells aren't allowed in our nice stadium. Ya'll get the old outdated one.

I gotta say. Anthony Dixon scares me in this game. If we can somehow get MSU into 3rd and long I like our chances, but Dixon will make that hella tough.
Having Little Rock games is an antiquated tradition that will come to an end eventually. One of the reasons they started splitting the games in the first place was due to the difficulty in traveling to Fayetteville. That's not the case anymore. Hell. I can get to Fayetteville from Texas in less than 5 hours.
I think the current contract was extended to 2016, if I'm not mistaken. Usually they try to give LR one non-conference game and one SEC game per year. If it were up to me, there would be no games in LR...ever. I really wish all SEC fans got a chance to visit Fayetteville for a game, LSU fans especially. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a severely underrated campus/stadium located in a beautiful part of the country.
Have a safe trip for those of you making the journey to Little Rock.

I remember when Alabama was the SEC game for Arkansas in Little Rock. I believe that stopped after 1994. I know for sure Alabama played there in 1992. I was there.

WMR is not in the best shape and the field is junk. I am sure the coaches hate playing there especially BP and crew. When 60000 people get in there though you can see the field from like almost any seat and they look bigger than they are because the floor is like on a stage or something.

Little Rock is a nostalgic setting. The stadium is a joke compared to Fayetteville but it is fun for what it is IMO. LR actually usually gives us a bigger home field advantage than Fayetteville for some reason. It is a bit louder I think. You can have a good time going to a game in Little Rock for sure.

And that's why its the only SEC stadium I've never been to. Although I'm told I haven't missed much.

Footballhog---I think I heard that LSU will play Arkansas in Fayeteville in 2010??? Is this correct?......haven't been to Fayetteville since the late 70's. Born / raised in So. Ark. Been to several games in WM and it is LOUD, but would love to see Razorback Stadium since all the renovations. I hear it is beautiful!

That would be news to me. I haven't heard anything about it, and RRS vs WMS (the "Great Stadium Debate" or GDS) is a contentious and highly-discussed topic among Arkansas message board posters.
