From now on, people will say that we were helped into the SECCG this year. It doesn't matter if most don't believe it and that it was just a bad call. There will still be a large enough percentage of people claiming we were helped to keep it in history.
The great effort and talent of the Alabama players will be questioned, and it is an insult to them.
All this because of one bad call. (Hold up there conspiracy theorists, I know you've got other bad calls from that game). The one bad call on the INT is what everyone remembers, it's what sprung all these other searches for bad calls.
It doesn't matter that the refs missed a bunch of Bad calls in the Bama/UT game that helped the Vols. It doesn't matter that we had more penalties and penalty yards against us in the Virginia Tech, North Texas, and South Carolina games, and pretty much even in Ole Miss. It doesn't matter that if the refs and SEC where actually scheming to help Alabama and Florida they could come up with much better ways of throwing games than missing calls that were reviewed and replayed over and over and over that they knew the whole country would see.
No, none of that will matter. There will be just enough percentage of people out there to say we were helped and LSU was screwed intentionally. And those rumors will echo for the next several years and every time Bama has a good season it will be because we were helped and there is a conspiracy.

I, for one, could honestly not care a whole lot less. We kicked their asses. Period. We outgained them by 200 yards. We had 11 more first downs. They had 9 total yards in the 4th quarter. They also had a chance to stop our offense after the "blown call" and failed to do so. We won by 2 scores, and it should have been a lot worse and they know that - which is why they are grasping on to the conspiracy theories instead of embracing the fact that they simply got beat by a superior team. Sometimes the truth hurts.

I think if the SEC had stepped up and admitted they blew the interception,this would be almost dead.
Terrible call. Cannot believe they didn't overrule it. But its only fair to speculate that if LSU had indeed scored to go up one,Alabama could have kicked a fg to win.
Alabama's gripe should be with the SEC office;not sister schools or the media.

If we win the SECCG and the NC, I won't give one shite about what people say about a ref consipiracy or bias. Championship teams have shite go their way during their season. It's a fact for most championship teams and LSU fans more than most know this.

I think it's even more fair to speculate that LSU's offense would have been stopped again by Bama's defense. We have no reason to believe otherwise.

Why does it bother you? Alabama is going to the SEC title game again, LSU isn't. If anybody has been "handed" a game this year it was Florida against Arkansas. They surely would've lost without all the bad calls, I think the majority of people outside Louisiana, while agreeing it was a bad call, also agree that the game wasn't "handed" to Alabama because LSU still would've had to go down the field and score a TD. No matter what you think though, it shouldn't bother you at all. When people are watching Alabama and Florida again, they're going to be watching a national semi-final and that's what matters.

Nah... if we make it to the SECCG undefeated, then go on and win the NC game, I doubt anyone would say we won the NCG because of a PI call in our favor against LSU.
HOWEVER, if LSU wins out, it would probably be brought up ad nauseum... well, at least in this forum

Take it easy man. Everyone doubts both of our national championships. Just have the mentality that you earned it. Screw what everyone else thinks. Ya'll just gotta find a way to win out, ya'll have had trouble with that recently.
