Feel free to add any plays that should be addressed. I will forward this to Mike Slive. Anybody wishing to call his office the number is (205)458-3000 ext 3002.

LSU vs Alabama 2009

1. 3rd down run by Jefferson.
Official runs two yards behind the forward progress line and spots the ball, upon when he placed the ball 1 foot behind where his foot marked the spot.

2. Pass interference call on Peterson.
Julio Jones ran straight into Peterson trying to draw a penalty. McElroy threw the ball out of bounds but the pass was not ruled uncatchable.

3. The first drive of the 2nd half by Bama.
There were no less that 4 holding fouls that were not called on this drive alone. The commentators pointed out one in particular.

4. Leading with the helmet hit on Jefferson.
Jefferson was speared in the chest when the player for Bama led with his helmet but a penalty flag was not thrown.

5. Pass interference flag picked up.
First off the penalty should have been holding. The pass was ruled uncatchable, which was not the case for Bama in the 2nd quarter. If holding had been called like it should have, the pass wouldn't have mattered.

6. 4th down conversion false start penalty.
Doesn't a play get blown dead if a false start is called? A whistle was not blown and the play was for 15 yds with a facemask penalty at the end, but that was negated because of the phantom false start.

7. 4th and 6 running into the punter.
Since when has that penalty been 5-1/2 yds? At this point it was obvious what was going to happen.

8. Illegal hands to the face.
How can 3 officials looking at the line not see an Alabama offensive lineman almost take a defensive lineman's helmet off?? Anybody?

9. Block in the back on the kickoff return.
The official was standing right in front of the play. Arenas returns the kick to midfield.

10. Peterson's interception.
This is the worst call I think I have ever seen by an official or crew for that matter. Not only did he have 1 foot in bounds but he had 2. There is a divit 8 inches from the sideline for confirmation. Video evidence as well.

11. Bama with 12 men on the field.
On this particular play they had 12 men on the field on defense and tried to call a timeout but the officials gave the timeout to LSU, who seemingly was trying to call one as well.

Half of these are very easy to miss IMO. When you start getting review plays wrong then thats what I get pissed. The only other plays I agree with completely are the roughing non call on JJ and the 3rd down run by JJ.

#6 I think they were trying to blow the play dead but yes the facemask is supposed to be negated if the play originated with a false start.

Obviously you didn't watch the game. There was one play that we rewatched where there was 4 different holding penalties on one play that should have been called. The SEC got what they wanted, Alabama vs Florida.

Obviously you don't have a clue as to what constitutes a foul.

actually, there was multiple holdings not called throughout the game, defensively and offensively for alabama. It is true that you could technically call holding on almost every play, but these were obvious holdings.

I agree, they should have allowed neither TO's and lsu would have gotten a five yard penalty

And the no call where Julio got hit in the back of the head while running a route was complete fricking bullshite. And the numerous no calls on obvious holds in the first half. It was a terribly called games. They fricked us on some big ones to.

Just say it pal, "I'm seriously butthurt because we missed out on the SEC West again to Bama."

A lot of you guys are starting to sound like little bitches. THERE WAS NO CONSPIRACY AGAINST LSU.

Maybe if your team played a little harder or your coaches made some better decisions then you wouldn't have to sound like a pathetic crybitch about the refs. No one is out to get you. Lose like a fricking man.

Yeah, it would have been a ticky tack call though. But then again, Barkdale's "flinch" that negated a 4th down conversion + facemask was ticky tack also and yet they called it. Oh well

i still want to know how someone can be so incompetent at their job that even with clear video evidence they frick up a call. Its either that person should be fired or shite is fixed. no other rational explanation for missing a clear cut call on replay.

You got your makeup call on the very next drive.

Not really. SEC officiating has been horrendous in multiple games this season and has played a big role in helping other teams win on multiple occasions. So I'm not really that surprised or pissed off at what transpired last night.

I've seen worse. Much worse. One that definately without a doubt cost Bama the game.

As for the blocks in the back: Happens all the time. It's not always called. But if you want to complain about it, I can complain about the block in the back that got call on us when our guy barely even touched the LSU player(who still made the tackle I believe). Not to mention the several obvious blocks in the back that LSU committed.

I'm curious about something though, do you go back and look at EVERY single game to look for penalties or just this one. I'm sure you would find just as many missed calls in every game played this season.

Y'all complain about the refs all the damn time. Even when you win. Give it a rest already
