I just read this on another board and didnt even realize it until then. If Ole Miss finishes 6-6 with two of their wins vs 1-AA teams (Southeastern Louisiana and Northern Arizona) they will not be eligible to be invited to any bowl games due to the fact that only 1 vicotry over a 1-AA team can count towards the six wins needed to be bowl eligible.

I doubt that this happens, but it is just something for the rebels to think about as they get ready to play against Arkansas, @ Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and @ Mississippi State.

I'd be surprised if they finished worse than 7-5. Yes they haven't look good so far but they will put it together eventually and probably win 8 games.

Yep it's true. I don't see how they couldn't get a Sunbelt team to replace SELA or Northern Arizona.

I think the rebels will finish 7-5. This has not been the season, they had hoped for, but that is what happens when you are in the SEC

Trust me Mississippi State has been thinking about last years game vs Ole Miss for the past year and will be more than ready to play when time for the Egg Bowl comes around.

Negative. Auburn and Tennessee are games you could potentially lose. They are not gimmes. Your offense looks just as bad as ours right now.

Not sure if you know much about playing in Knoxville, but its not ever easy winning on the road in front of 100K+ fans,

We play them in Oxford

Should be a decent game this year, at least better than last year

I hope but I am not positive. State and Auburn are both much improved and we have been struggling at best on offense. The only thing that gives me hope is our D is stacked.

I agree with you on this 100%, and think that if you beat Arkansas yall will end up winning 9 games, but if the Rebels lose to Ark in the "NUTT BOWL" yall could experience some problems. Arkansas looked REALLY good vs Florida last weekend, Mallett is the REAL DEAL.

It's a HUGE game. Both teams are trying to get themselves established. The loser goes to either 1-3 or 1-4 in conf. play. It may be the biggest game of the year for either team.

I for one wouldn't be surprised if the Rebs lost to State, UT, Aub, Ark, and LSU.
