I was thinking the same exact thing when I started this thread. However I figured the rebels will have 6 total wins coming into the Egg Bowl, thus meaning they would have to win at Mississippi State just to make a bowl game.

I remember way back when Alabama and LSU were the only potential loseable games for ole miss, per their fans.

Keep in mind, Ole Miss didn't look great until after the Arkansas game last year. Its a good chance to be a repeat of last season, just with a slightly better record. We'll have to drink harder in Dallas this year to break our own bar records.

While at the Memphis-Ole Miss game I was tailgating, and I asked a few Rebel fans, who was going to win the national championship this year? They all looked into eachothers eyes and smiled, quite gayfully, at one another in their seersucker pants and ties and said this is OUR year.

I've said it a million times. Ole Miss went 8-4 last year. What was the hype for? Who started it? It was the biggest bullshite I'd seen in the modern era of college football. Well at least now everyone is aware of your pretender status, and if you don't think Ole Miss has a chance to lose against Auburn, Tennessee, or State. Then you sir, are a stupid douchebag.
But then again, I would expect that from a fan of a school where reading isn't necessarily a requirement for admission.
