Was just going through our rotation and noticing all the athletes I think we'll have drafted into the NFL of our starters and was curious how much talent is on other SEC teams. I'll try not to project freshmen/soph's unless their a given (Richardson, Hightower).

Bama's Defense (I'll try to stick to this year's starters) 10

Cody -DT
Deaderick - DE possibly
Dareus - DE
McClain - LB
Hightower - LB
Upshaw - LB
Anders - LB maybe
Arenas - CB
Jackson - CB (I don't like him but I bet he goes)
Mark Barron - Safety

Offense: 7
QB - McElroy
RB1 - Ingram
RB2- Richardson
TE1 - Peek
WR1 - Julio
Oline is a bit of a guessing game:
RG - Mike Johnson
RT - Drew Davis

Kicker - Kiffen

So that's 18 guys I think we'll get drafted in the next 2 years, that's a long way from 07 when not one Bama player got drafted.

I'm not sure McElroy gets drafted. He doesn't have an NFL arm. And before someone says Chad Pennington, that's the extremely rare exception, not the rule.

You have to be a top 3 kicker to be drafted. NFL teams have realized that you can pick up a kicker in FA and not waste a draft pick.

McElroy would go in what, the 7th round this year? Maybe? If a team just wanted to grab a Scout Team Qb, maybe?

We have arguably the best group of WR in the league and we won't throw a fricking pass more than 10 yards .

Lets run up the gut and get stoped after 2 yards yea that fricking works.

That could have alot to do with it.

At least the Defense looks better

Boykin looks like a potential 1st team ALL-SEC and Branden Smith looks like a Champ Bailey clone. They will be fun to watch over the next couple of seasons.

The only reason I have Hardesty late is b/c normally the NFL likes to shy away from guys that have had several knee surgeries.

fricking waste

the waste is that you must have spent too much time on the Tiger Rant today getting worked up.
I don't go over there much any more.
Too much negative shite on that board.
LSU is still in the top 10 and as bad as they've played Bama is the only game left I think we'll lose.
