All the talk has been about Kiffen during the offseason, but Chizick is getting it done. Tennessee was in the SEC Championship game in '07. Auburn was last there in '04.

Just wait until we hear the UT press conference. "If we had another minute, we would have beat them. It was only a 3 point game if they would have let us kick the extra point."

But coach Kiffin, didn't coach chizz take over a program that was in worse shape than yours and he is undefeated and he whooped your butt in your stadium?

You don't know that yet. Chow/Kiff's offense was certainly the strength of Carroll's best teams.

Bottom line, Kiffin is a badass recruiter. If he doesn't have lots of success, the guy after him will.

You sure are going out on a limb. Of course, Carroll took a 5-7 team and started 1-4 his first year in the Pac-10. Kiffin is ahead of Carroll's pace so far.

I know there aren't many smart posters here, but coaches' first years generally mean jack shite.

Pete Carroll also has a team that resides in Los Angeles, California... and is in the Pac-10

And the thing that pretty much all of those coaches have in common: they came in to big rebuilding projects.

Auburn needed more rebuilding than UT, and yet Auburn is performing better with a new coach compared to UT.

Yes, it is clear Kiffin is doing a better job of the two so far.

A side note:

Auburn has now won 20 consecutive games with Gene Chizik on the coaching staff.
