I'm going to guess they will be about 23.

If they lose to Georgia, they'll drop pretty hard. Probably around where Ole Miss ended up.

I'd say that's about right....depends how big we lose by.....I don't think we are even the #23 team in the nation with the way we are playing.

I doubt that, with a loss (assuming its not a 42-3 loss like Cal had) they'd drop to around 15-18 range I would think. They would be losing on the road to a top 20 team and they still have more name recognition and credibility than a team like Ole Miss who plummeted after a loss.

Why would they drop with a W over the leghumpers?!?

LSU might not be worldbeaters, but who really is these days? Florida, Alabama, Texas.... Cincinatti? Boise State?
Every team has its flaws and while LSU might not be a top 5 or even a top 10 team right now, they are still pretty decent.

+1 It's clear that UF, Bama, and Texas are the top 3 teams right now, but none of them have set themselves apart as some monster team.

Hey, if anyone can make fun of LSU, it's that Nutt-driven powerhouse known as Ole Miss.

First, thanks for the thread you started last Thursday night. It was hilarious, and everyone got a laugh out your ridiculous boasts. Now, given your penchant for making idiotic assertions, perhaps you should actually wait till next weekend to see what the outcome of the UGA-LSU game is before asking how far the Tigers will fall in the rankings. That is, unless you want more humiliation of the kind you experienced last Thursday.

I'm having a hard enough time with stupid LSU fans. I have no time for even dumber Ole Miss fans.
