Not really. The scoreboard says yes, but A&M was in control all game. Utah scored 2 4th quarter TDs when the starters were out. A&M had the spread covered in the 4th. With Christine Michael and Jeff Fuller both going down with injuries, with others as well, the coaches just wanted to get out of the game alive. The team recovered well this week, and showed they can finish much better.

BTW, I saw a friend of mine at church today. His son plays for the Aggies.
I asked him if the Aggies were confident going into the Jerry world game, given the respective records of the teams.
"Are you kidding?" he asked. "My God, Arkansas nearly beat Georgia, lost to Bama, and have one of the most potent offenses in the country. There is no way A and M will match what bama did to them." This is pretty much verbatim.
Oh yeah, did I mention his son plays for the Aggie defense??

Doc, If I'm pessimistic it's because of the production I've seen from Petrino's Hogs in the last 15 games, they have made virtually NO progress. And being pessimistic does NOT equal being a "Nutt hugger", calling people Nutt huggers at this point is retarded.

Look, Arkansas is 1-2, not worthy of smack-talk at this point.
But we are 1-2 for a reason, and your undefeated record is a result of playing a VERY weak schedule to this point.

If I can't get excited about playing the team picked dead last in the Big 12, with the above lineup as an alternative, well, then I might as well give up now.
A&M isn't half the team Georgia was or an 1/8th of Bama. We are not as bad as Bama made us look. Bama is going to rape no less than 13 teams this season.

I have not once said that we are good BECAUSE we are undefeated. I do think we are pretty good though. Mallet is going to be in trouble. Von Miller leads the nation in sacks, and the Aggies haven't had the gift of playing a statue yet.

And as bad as Bama made our O-line look, Aggie also hasn't had to go against a line with scholarship offers from schools outside the SWAC or Sun Belt. Bama on the other hand had the #1 dline in the history of mankind.

Never mind they are picked 12th out of 12 teams in the Big 12 or the fact they have sat at home and padded stats against players that one day aspire to make an AF2 practice squad.
