To be fair that play could have worked but Jones made an awesome, and lucky, play to deflect the ball.

The pass Jones knocked down is a touchdown 9 times out of 10. And their running game gouged our dline the whole game, but when our line actually makes a stop on consecutive plays and Jones makes a great play you bash the playcalling?
I guess I can also assume that when LSU botched the long punt snap or when State scored their miracle 3rd touchdown on a broken play it was Miles getting outcoached, but when our dline actually steps it up and make a stop its cuz Mullen screwed up.

The dude was wide open. If he floats it, easy TD. Even with how he threw it, Jones had to make an amazing play to knock it down. I'd say 4 times out of 5, that play is not made.
Outcoached himself on the entire series? Maybe, but the 3rd and goal play was fine.

ill be honest we couldnt stop there run game all day and to be honest i think big boy got in on 2nd down, id have ran it with dixon 2 more times

Running didn't work 3 fricking times. That pass play usually fricks LSU up. If I was a Moo St fan and we got stuffed 4 times up the gut I'd be MORE pissed than this way

There was more than a min left on the clock even if they had the TD. Not saying we would have scored but a min is plenty of time for FG range.
