I just want the expert opinions of the SEC Ranters...

What do you guys think the outcome will be? I have to admit I am a bit concerned about this game after watching them play UF. Do you guys think UF coasted in this game or did UT slow down their offense that much? At Knoxville and I know Monte will have their D ready.

TN looked pretty good against Florida. They definitely have a defense.

Like Ole Miss, Tennessee was Florida's first true test. Florida didn't have to really man up until the UT game. I think Auburn should be ready because they have already played stiffer competition and should win this one.

If you can score 17 you win. UT still only had 1 good drive all day against the gators. I actually expect AU to win this one going away.

I don't know...Tennessee should have success running the ball. Auburn hasn't faced a defense like that either. Should be a fun game.

if AU stops the run, they win. If not, UT has a chance. Crompton can't make any stupid mistakes, probably asking too much of him.

All I know is that I'm going up for this game and hope to see a quality matchup.

I think Au will lose to Ut in an ugly game. 20-17. As for the Uf vs Ut game I think that Uf made mistakes that kept Ut in the game. Take away an uncharectoristic fumble by Tebow and Uf wins 30-6 if not by more.

Well, all the "would'a, could'a, should'a" posts aside related to TN vs. FL... I think that Auburn has enough D to scratch out a win here. We have multiple players (good ones) on defense returning from injury this week as well, which will add some needed depth. Pybus and Carter were starters last year that haven't played yet. If we stopped WVU's Devine, we can stop TN's run.

I like the fact that Ball State gives us a game to play some younger guys that need to get some more experience going into that game as well.

We'll see I suppose.

What does Ohio U have ? I'm curious how Tennessee will respond tomorrow after hearing all week how gutty and scrappy they were in a loss.Don't get me wrong--UT did play well. But this is the type of stuff that has plagued Vanderbilt for a million years. They'd play Alabama off their feet for 3 and a half quarters and then Tulane would run them out of Dudley Field.

One thing I am not sure about yet in Gus's offense is the use of audibles. If a play needs to be changed at the line, does the QB audible out of it, or does it come in from the sideline by signals?

Thsi will be the first game Auburn has faced where crowd noise can be a factor, so changing plays at the line to react to the defense setup may not be as easy.

Run defense is key, and we all saw what one good running back did to this defense last week - now you have several RBs that are that good. The upside is the QB talent drops from WVU to UT, so there can be more of a focus on run D.

Close game, within a touchdown either way. I don't feel stong enough either way to say for certain who wins. My ticket just came in the mail today, so I'll be there.

I hope the Auburn Tigers aren't looking past Ball State like the fans are.

Chizik would be crucified if he lost this game Saturday.

That would ALMOST be as bad as losing to UL-Monroe in your first year.

I think they'll be ready.

Ball State lost to North Texas for crying out loud. If the Aubbies don't beat Ball State . . . .
