I have had this as a loss since April. Thanks for the update. I hope that our starters are out of the SELA game by halftime and pray that Hardy's ankle will heal. SC has a FAU team that will cause their starters to play most of if not all the game so thats one advantage.
This is one Rebel fan that will be in Columbia next thursday. This is the do or die game for us. Were either gonna win and be in position to do something that hasnt been done here in a while or we will continue to be Ole Miss.
The fan in me hopes we squeak by with a narrow victory. But William Bryce is a very underrated place to play. A couple of my buddies that go to Georgia told me that its just about as load at Sanford.

We will see if Ole Miss is as good as advertised that weekend. It's a win win for LSU fans no matter the outcome.

I think Ole Miss will come out with a W but i have been wrong before
I think you're giving SC too much credit personally, they put up 1 TD against NC State
but yes they played a close game with Georgia but i also think Georgia is pretty overrated and will lose to Arkansas
Even if Ole Miss does lose to SC it doesn't mean we are out of the race completely

short week to prepare
I think this will be a good game, but something tells me Ole Miss is spending some quality time preparing for Carolina this week as well. I doubt SELA occupied a ton of time this week in practice.

I think OP pulls it off, but will be closer than they want.

I will be pleased with any outcome, I wouldn't mind getting ahead in the SEC West race though.

Cocks can sometimes become hard and do some damage. Nutt's boys aren't very physical.

I expect Ole Miss to play well. I'm not a huge believer in South Carolina at this point. I think the offense they put against Georgia might be a fluke.

I was against USC all offseason - I don't think this game is that tough. Their running game is suspect and Garcia is still unproven. However, USC has athletes and Norwood is a game changer. Their defense keeps them in the game, but we win going away in the 4th.

I agree that williams/brice is a very underrated and intimidating place to play, but I like OM to win this game based on the revenge factor from last year. It should be a close and competitive game.
Another factor OM needs to consider is that they haven't played an opponent that's capable of beating them. Can they play from behind on the road in a tough environment? Those questions will probably be answered.
As i stated earlier, i am still expecting a Rebel victory.

I would also like to add that I disagree with some earlier statements in this thread how this is OM's chance to show they are for real.
Even if OM loses to USC, they are very capable of beating the rest of the teams on their schedule, so they don't need to be written off by any means.

So you're just gonna prove that you're an idiot, huh.
Hopefully, you just haven't seen us play.

If Ole Miss loses to USC, their chances of getting to Atlanta go from slim to none.
