Arkansas bloggers are silly.

Not a good link but I can see the grunts finishing in the top 20 in Mallett's first year if some other teams falter. He won't have a good enough oline and defense to help his cause. I see them pulling 2, maybe 3 upsets if the defense comes around a bit.

Next year, his last, they could be a force to be reckoned with. They will give plenty of trouble to people next year. The media frenzy here in the Natural State will probably be like none I've seen in the 26 years I've lived here.

For us displaced Tiger fans your prayers will be appreciated for next year.

The o-line last year was transitioning from the FOUR Nutt pass protections to the THIRTY Petrino pass protections.

There is no indication so far at scrimmages, against MSU, or by the staff to indicate the O-line not being able to protect Mallett.

"2, maybe 3 upsets" would put us at 10-2 or 9-3. I'll take that.

But simply beating those we should, and beating only 1 of 5 out of Georgia, Florida, Bama, LSU, and Old Piss puts us at 8-4.

I was making no judgements on the University of Arkansas football team. I'd be surprised if Arkansas finished the season unranked. I just think that it is hilarious that the Arkansas blog was the second most homer this past week. First place went to Notre Dame.

Arkansas , Alabama, and LSU fans (atleast the real life fans of these teams i know)
