Shitty Chavis D aside, Locker made most of his plays by breaking contain and buying time/running. I'm not too concerned about cement feet Mallett doing that.

Its the first game. The first game isn't that much of an indicator on how good the teams will actually be.

None have seen Mallett since he was on PPV last week. Locker was much better than Snead last week and is a much better athelete. LSU fans don't like QB's that throw 3-4 int a game.

he sure was saturday seriously, he can pass and he can run. with his 3 step drop and quick release, he is very hard to pressure and to defend their quick passing routes. he is the real deal, but so is snead. i have never seen mallett play so can't comment.

I watched him. And if you have 360, you can too.
He's a beautiful athlete. He drwarfs the rest of the players.

Locker is a good QB. He's being overhyped on the rant but Snead and Mallett have had their share of overhyping as well.

if we play 10 yards off of receivers all year, the Tulane QB will look like a Heisman candidate

Mallett did move well in the pocket and stood tall even when there was pressure...

I didn't watch the LSU game...Just trying to figure out if this claim is legit

Well, before the season I said JL was overrated. He did surprise me vs LSU.
It could have been LSU's prevent D the entire game.

yes. this is not sour grapes, but can you believe a guy this size running a 4.39 forty with a quick release and a cannon arm? And he really does not have much experience yet. He maybe the 1st quarterback taken in the drapt.

I mean I would say that Jevan Snead looked better against the LSU secondary last year than Locker did this year.
