It is pretty much 100% that we will be. Ohio State and USC are above us, and one of them have to lose (*cough*Ohio State*cough*). Best case we'll be #4, if Texas, Florida, or Bama lose, but I don't see that happening.

So how does everyone feel that Ole Miss will be in the Top 5 next week, since we have an open game next week?

We don't give a damn. Talk to us after you accomplish something besides embarrassing the conference on national TV vs. a lower tiered C-USA team.

3 Sec teams in the top 5 =

Always becomes an advantage for the entire conference later in the year. I hope you win every game but one.

While you're probably right, I don't agree with it. If we're off (and this goes for all teams on a bye) you shouldn't move up unless there are totally odd circumstances. You should stay put and teams who won below you should move up if those above lose. Only way you should move up is if every single team in front loses. And then it should only be a spot or two. It's just wrong to move up for doing nothing. There's no logic to it at all, that's just my 2 cents.

It will be interesting to see how long the stay actually lasts.

smell it, smell it, smell it, and take it. Maybe last chance to see this. Kinda like mars sitting side by side in appearance with the moon.

The higher the rise, the further the fall.
