I don't. I hope they lose. Drop the Saban fetish you say? No, it's not that. I just don't like the Tide. The last time I wanted them to win was when they played Miami in '92, to spite a buddy of mine from Miami.

I think it's their redneck fan base. I know we have more than our share, but I've never seen anything like these people. I make frequent trips to Florida and stop off in Alabama for food, gas or to piss, and it's like some time machine/deliverance type shite, all wrapped in crimson.

Maybe it's that they kicked LSU's arse all those years.

I watched the Utah game in Florence with my dying great uncle, who is a real-life WWII war hero, and as cool of a guy as you'll meet. He's a life long Bama fan, so I pretended to want Bama to win for the sake of his feelings. Inside, I enjoyed watching them embarrass themselves and the SEC. I will enjoy it again if they blow it against VT.

The only team in the SEC that I want to see do well is LSU. The rest can pretty much go to hell.

I felt no joy when Utah stomped on Alabama, but that was because of what it did to my pick 'em standing.

I don't really care one way or the other. I don't care for Virginia Tech or Alabama. Whatever. Bama is going to destroy them, I will just sit back and watch.

I alway's want Bama to lose unless it's a game that gives LSU a divisional title.

random internet dude doesn't like my team and judges my state on what he saw in My Cousin Vinny. I'm going to lose so much sleep tonight.

That's just it. Who cares? They will either win, or lose. I can't change it, or what people will say afterwards. All I have invested in this game is my deep-seeded dislike for Alabama. I hope they lose and I hope their fans cry and shoot their TVs.

No don't do that. I will lose sleep if I think I caused you to lose sleep.

Yeah, but it's not the random internet guy that's gonna keep you up. It's the new offensive line and QB against a Frank Beamer / Bud Foster defense.

FWIW, I'd like both teams to lose in a 0-0 tie, with Julio and Javier getting the taste knocked out of their mouths on every play, but that prolly won't happen.

Actually, I'd like Bama to win the game but then have to forfiet on a recruiting violation for a third string punter or something.

Yes, i hope Bama wins. Makes the conference look good, and it strengthens LSU's schedule if we can beat them in November.

Well, shite. Now I'm going to lose sleep, over you losing sleep, because you're concerned he is going to lose sleep.

LSU and Alabama recruit a lot of the same players. LSU can go into Alabama and cherry pick it when Bama sucks. Bama being top 5-10 doesn't help LSU.

Oh, and frick the SEC.

I am real sorry about all of this. I feel like it's my fault.

I am going to wake my wife and see if she'll bang (she won't).
