V Tech lost last year to...

1. ECU
2. Boston College
3. FSU
4. Miami
Why in the frick are they in the top 10 and how in the hell does anybody think we lose to this team.
We went 12-0 in the SEC and they last these 4 games in the ACC and they are going to beat Alabama. Their QB threw 1 TD pass last year
I'm just not seeing it!!
My Prediction:
Alabama 42
V Tech 9

Lose to Utah and have a coach that has a bit of a history of losing games he should win. Thats not as smack thats just the answer. I for one think, and hope, 'Bama beats their head in.

That is not my point. Our defense is about the same as last year and even though we are starting a new QB it is not like he has never played the game before. McElroy thrw the same number of TD passes as their QB and he played for about 47 seconds.

Scoop has something here. A horrid offense from last season going against a top 3 defense that returns almost everyone isn't going to score much.
Same could be said about us, but I think that even with our thin line and new QB, we are still in better shape offensively.
I think we'll win comfortably, but maybe not so much a blowout--but I hope for it!

SEC recruiting win, spring game win, Saban win, and the we had the bear win. thats where he got the additional 4 victories, but having these wins takes the place of the Florida loss and gives them another mythical national championship

I can see where you're coming from on this one. VT is always highly touted, but they never seem to accomplish anything.
I would be very suprised if Bama lost this one.Then again I did not see Bama losing to Utah either.

i remember when LSU played va tech most thought it would be a 17-10 type game with the winner being whoever played better defense. at first i thought the same thing with this game but as time keeps going by i think alabama will win big like LSU did.

Bama wins easily. I agree and don't understand why VT is so high ranked with a scat back for a qb. This game is over at the half.
