His TD catch was very impressive and he was running really hard after every catch and his jet sweep. I look for him to play much closer to his potential this year.

The star system is all hype and just another way for schools and their fanbases to compete with eachother during the off-season. It doesn't matter what these kids did to their opponents in high school or who has the best highlight reel. It's how the players progress their skills and knowledge of the game once they get to the school they pick. If the star system is what builds championships then Ron Zook would still be in Gainesville. Florida has had plenty of players that were 2 or 3 star recruits who came in and became vital parts of national championship teams. For example:
Dallas Baker ***
Kestahn Moore ***
Tony Joiner ***
Tate Casey ***
Louis Murphy ***
Tremaine McCollum **
Brandon James ***

Without some of these players, Florida may not have won their past 2 NCAA titles. Many were playing over guys who were higher-rated prospects, but just didn't develop they way the "experts" predicted. Now, why shouldn't some Arky fans be excited about a kid that is obviously gifted enough, considering he is able to choose from multiple BCS conference schools?
