He may be a very talented RB but the level he played at in Kansas was a cupcake. He will be playing with the big boys here soon.

I'm pretty sure he knew he was going to get hit when he committed to Tennessee

There is no such thing as a minor concussion.

Kiffin:
"Those were big-time, game-time major hits,” Kiffin said. “That was 99 percent."

I'm just going by what is being reported.
He particapated in drills, but no contact today.

I'm pretty excited to hear what happens tommorrow! The pads will be POPPIN at Neyland!

Exactly. Medical studies support concussions are cumulative. "Getting your bell rung" being OK will go the way of withholding water to toughen up the players.

I know....not a shot at you.
Looks like the coaches and med staff are on top of it and doing the right thing.....No contact until they are SURE the effects have passed. Good for them

This is just another example of Kiffin's ineptitude IMHO.
He's taking a team that already has a lot of injury issues and is having them go practically full speed in nothing but shoulder pads...and bragging about it. It will be interesting to see how Tennessee's injury stats add up between now and the start of the season.

Jesus Christ. Kiffin can't do anything right with you guys can he?
Its awesome that the practices are like this. Hold nothing back. We're not good enough right now to worry about injuries. These guys have to learn how to hit and get hit.
