My hat's off to Utah. They beat Alabama soundly. They were just better.
Sometimes I hear it said that Alabama couldn't get up emotionally for that game. I don't know whether that's true of not. But one thing I do know, if you can't get motivated to play your best in the Sugar Bowl regardless of the opponent then something is askew.
If Bama was flat because it was the end of a long hard season, then that's another thing altogether.
In any event, I hope our players learned a lesson and won't take any opponent for granted in the future. A good coach will make it part of the process.

Oh yeah, you're right as you can be. Rival fans of teams that lost to Alabama and are now giggling like 4th grade girls are truly pathetic. Unfortunately, we (Alabama) have some younger fans who do the same sort of thing.
