Can the mods put an anchor in this thread before it reaches 100 pages? I gave up arguing in this thread a long time ago. Everybody else needs to do the same thing

No. It says that you all are as thin-skinned as a woman with a bloody vag.

I rarely, if ever, read the guy's posts. I just like seeing how far Arkansas fans fly off the handle on some meaningless message board like it directly effects your well being.

Hog fans are very insecure and suffer from penis envy re stadium size and recruiting bases.
They know the SWC was never as strong as the SEC in 60s and 70s.LSU usd to open the season with Aggies,Rice, and Baylor for their non conference slate.Hogs essentially played a one game season,Texas. Look at Hogs bowl record.
They can't give you a valid reason as to how they will be better than Auburn or any of the Big6 in SEC,they just attack those who disagree with them.
They can't explain why the Big 6 has so many highly rated commits for '10 and they don't.
Woo clains it's because Arky has several 4 and 5 star commits who have yet to be rated. I doubt this, but time will tell.
Arky may one day win SEC,but they have a much steeper hill to climb than The Big 6.
Petrino grabbed the Arky job because he was desperate to leave Atlanta, not because Arky was so attractive. Had Auburn job been open at the time,he would have taken it over Arky. This may have caused Saban to leave Bama due to fear of competing with the great Bobby Petrino.
This thread has become silly. Hog fans in typical Hogville style, want to ban a guy who challenges their claim to greatness, yet love saying whatever they wish. The rest of the SEC should know that the Waltons will buy the Hogs whatever they need! So damn childish.

Who claimed this, and where? I've never heard of it and I'm 99.9% sure it's not true.

Auburn's recruiting class is really not that much better than Arkansas's right now, except that they have more players. They have 2 four stars, 10 three stars, and 2 unranked. Arkansas has 1 four star, 5 three stars, 1 two star (kicker), and an unranked player.

The classes are virtually identical, at least in terms of average Rivals ratings. The difference is that Auburn's class is currently twice as large. This is pretty irrelevant considering that it's still July.

Last year, most of our class came from out of state. Recruiting outside Arkansas does not appear to be a problem for our coaching staff, and that somewhat mitigates our smaller recruiting base.

Auburn may prove in February that they have a recruiting advantage over Arkansas, but so far, it is still undetermined. It isn't fair to use the past to predict the future, because both teams had different coaching staffs. And if you take a look at how Ole Miss is doing in recruitng right now under Nutt, you may understand why using Arkansas's previous recruiting history to predict its future recruiting potential is fallacious.

I won't believe that Auburn has a recruiting advantage until it's proven. It can't be proven until February.

Arkansas has an edge in coaching, so that's why I feel comfortable saying that Arkansas has a better 5 year outlook. But if Auburn starts pulling in top 10 classes and we are stuck in the 20-30 region, I may change my opinion.

Pioneer I never said I hoped that. Why are you telling bold face lies.

What I said was Petrino has a history of getting good players hurt. He did it at Louisville and he's doing it here. I bet at least one of those and maybe both are nonfactors due to injury. I hope it doesn't happen but soemthing in the ole boy's coaching is getting players hurt more than the average sec coach.

Didn't read the whole thing but I'll say Arky...I think the point that many fail to realize is to account for variable change in all aspects of football...This includes recruiting, facilities and the like...By ruling out variable change, it makes you look like an idiot...

Petrino hasn't gotten one player hurt here at Arky...You are just talking out your arse on this WRT

What is childish is your man-crush on Arkansas.

What gives, you follow AR threads around almost as bad as WRT? What's the story?

Big 6? It is incredibly naive or dumb to think any of the programs in the SEC cannot become relevant on both the SEC and national stages.

Ole Miss used to be very good, in kind you, like a lot of LSU fans completely ignore the 90's and how terrible you were. Where was FL before Spurrier?

Each of the teams in the conference have ups and downs. Who knows, in 50 years MS St and KY can be the dominate powers in football, not likely but it is possible.

You ignore history and have the nerve to call other posters childish?

Auburn...It's hard to judge Chizik based on his ISU record..really...how many kids wanna play at Iowa St.? Wouldn't be too high on my list. Chizik will turn the program around no matter if Saban stays or goes. Hell, he will probably bolt in a few years anyway. Someone else will need a "rent-a-coach", and Tricky Nick will answer the call with smug mediocrity.
