I got no prob with no Heisman winner. Not too many of them walk away with NC's.

That's from College Football Live... but I'm not sure why that's an "ouch". I think everyone agrees that Bo is the best player. Of course there are two other questions, and Auburn will not be the victor in either.

Yeah... he's right. All Alabama players suck. That's why we beat the crap out of ever team in the SEC last year except Florida.

Bo Jackson is the greatest player to play in Alabama. I don't think many will say different.

Not that anyone asked, but a fun fact is that Alabama's rival from up north, and by that I mean us, also has never had a Heisman winner.

UT has at least come close. i believe we've had a guy come in second five times. With arguably the two biggest screwjobs in history. Johnny Majors, star of UT's undefeated 1956 team losing out to a dude off a 2-8 Notre Dame team that got smoked like every game. And of course Woodson over Manning which doesn't deserve any further acknowledgement.
As many great players as have come through Bama's program, the closest player to win it, of all people was David Palmer(?) coming in third.
