And away we go...
In all seriousness, I believe he's had missteps along the way. I'm reserving my judgment until he actually coaches a game.

I believe in Lane Kiffin like I believe in a sick puppy.

"They love him, you should see the way our team responds to him." Yeah, the 11 players that dropped out speaks volumes for how much the players love him. bullshite

I remember hearing that Coach Fran at A&M gave a "lock the gates" speech right before the Aggies lost at Baylor.

I love how this gets talked up so much when the players that left were either:
A) Walk-Ons
B) Low on the depth chart and transfered to get playing time
C) Kicked off the team

Your Kiffin is like our old Curly Hallman. Good luck with that!

I remember late in the Iron Bowl last year after the game had become a blowout, we started talking about who we thought UT would hire. I said "I think Kiffin is a good coach. I'd rather them not hire him. I'd actually rather them get Gruden because he'll sign 14 quarterbacks every year". Well, i've dropped off that statement a little. Kiffin is doing the same sort of thing. He signed probably the best secondary class of anyone last year....but they have no young linemen. The few they've signed this year haven't been great. They have Jose Jose who looks like the Michelin Man and a few more. You win games in the trenches. UT may be in for some long seasons.....but Kiffin does get good skill players.

You better believe. Your whole football program is in the hands of a 34 yr old.

Sure you say! And the QB that walked was a walk-on, low on the depth chart and transferred to get playing time or kicked off the team? We'll see how Crompton works out this year...again.

Actually, you're right. He sucked. He didn't play under Fulmer and Kffin had the same opinion on him. He was a local hometown hero and thats why people wanted him to play. If he was a legitimate SEC quarterback then he would not be playing for UT chattanooga right now (oddly enough, where he is the local hero)
Fact is, he transfered because he wasn't going to be the starter.
