Ok Ole Miss. Here's the deal. You haven't shared an SEC title in a real sport since 1977. All you have to do today is WIN and you will share the title with LSU in men's intercollegiate baseball. No pressure.

Guys, I know tennis doesn't seem like much, but it is a very physical sport to play. It will wear the frick out of you
I know it's not one of the big three sports, but it is still a sport. And no, I don't play tennis. I did play one game once with a friend of mine that was practicing for a tournament. Not very fun. Won't ever do it again....and i'm betting it made him feel better about his playing

Ole Miss fans clinging to tennis are like Tennessee fans of my age hanging on the every move of the Lady Vols...celebrating all those championships in the 80's and 90s like a South American or European soccer fan whose team had won the World Cup...because there wasn't much else to cheer about.
Thank God Peyton graduated and Tee Martin & Co. finally gave them something to cheer about.

its not part of the big 3 and no one gives a frick about tennis. ole miss sports history is about as pathetic as it comes.

Define "real." Every sport is considered "real" in my books... and Ole Miss won the SEC Championship in Tennis this year.

No, you don't give a frick about tennis, but there are lots of us that do.

tennis isn't part of the big 3 so plenty of people agree that they dont give a frick.

I wouldn't discount Tennis just because it's not part of the Big 3. People may not care about it, but there are lots of people that do and they shouldn't be laughed at for caring about something others don't.... I enjoy Tennis. I guess sports are only followed by fans if their program is worth a shite, and quite frankly Ole Miss has had major success this season in Men's Tennis. Not sure how LSU has done, or any other team for that matter... but don't put them down when they are up about something.

im all fine with tennis and being happy about winning but the ole miss fan tried to include it as a major sport when it is clearly not that. LSU hosted a regional

It's not one of the big 3. But I've seen threads on here about gymnastics I think, which is more pathetic.

Oh... Tennis is definitely not part of the Big 3. I agree with that, but it's still important to some of us. Congrats on LSU hosting.
