Alabama is a program is on the rise. When you look around at all programs I believe this moves us back to where we were before the mid 90's. I think we are now an Athletic program that can and will compete at a top 25 level in just about every sport. I said earlier my opinion after we hire Grant the SEC elite programs (if weighted giving the big three mens sports the most weight) 1. Florida 2. LSU 3. Alabama 4. UGA
Paying Anthony Grant enough to bring him here was huge, but the thing I see that I like the most is our commitment to upgrade our basketbal facilities so that we do not lose a coach for that reason.

By the way I am not saying this has happened because we hired him... I am saying this because I believe it will happen. This is not a delusion that hiring a coach wins you cames. I am simply predicting having Grant and Saban at the top of our program with a long list of sports we are already competitive leads me to believe we are on the rise.

Better hope the Munster does not bolt to Lexington (strong indications it might happen)...

If the Gator job is open...say bye bye to Grant...he will be the next Gator coach.

I really do not think Grant would have come to Tuscaloosa today if he was going to consider another job this season. I think Donovan is staying in Florida, but thats just my opinion

Billy is stayin, after he turned down the Magic, I dont see any other options being that appealing to him. Grant was a great hire and will allow yall to compete in the SEC for a very long time.

Gillespie will win tonite and get another year. But if he doesn't preform or Meeks and Patterson go pro. It will be his last. If he doesn't win tonite, I see UK going after Jaime Dixon or Jay Wright.

I feel like Dixon will end up somewhere else too.

Ole Piss fan knows what is going down in Lexington

Here is a little nugget to chew on...it is not just his coaching performance that is getting him in trouble...off court, he is not becoming of a Kentucky coach.

Thats fine. But I dont see yall getting Donovan but then again I'm a Ole "Piss" fan so maybe I should go teach our AD how to create a schedule and not worry about Billy G.

mmjones let him dream which is what UK fans do best. Billy D already turned the backwords loser school UK down 2 years ago and would again. They also think they are getting Pitno back. lol

If you want to counter about the Munster, then bring it...

But, saying Clyde is sticking if he wins tonight maybe a pipe dream...dude has ish building up on him...fans, administration, etc had enough.

Whether the Munster comes is a different story...but to me, he looks like he needs to be re-energized...because, he seems bored in Gainsneck...and by the way, do you know how close it came for him coming 2 years ago...if different and saying it was not happening so, back it up. Because a lot of those in the know have a different view.

Stick with wondering if Kennedy is getting thrown in the slammer in the Nasty and worry about if any of the damn recruits Dale brought in will qualify or not get arrested.

Would love Dixon...

But, he is a west coast guy. Do not see him moving from Pitt unless ASU job opens up (not happening with Herb) or the Zona job is clean to take (NCAA snooping around).

Why dont you wait until he signs some papers and coaches a game AT BAMA before you start putting bama at the top of the SEC. Man, some of you gumps are complete morons.

I don't think it would be that much of a stretch for pitino to head back to Lexington.

The sec is ripe for the taking. KY is/was an elite basketball program.

Money talks. If the cats went after him hard, It wouldn't suprise me at all.
