Dillon Bell to Vikings
Noah Thomas to Bengals
Beau Gardner to Bears

Weird that Brett and Beau have the best chances of seeing the field.

I'm still pretty surprised nobody took a late flyer on Dillon. He's been one of most productive receivers year in year out.

Productive in what way? He whined two years ago and didn't want to play RB when we needed him. Dropped important balls, never created separation, had poor vision on reverses.

He was utilized too much imo. People hype up the Tenn game a few years ago like it was whole career. Fluke game with trick plays.

Averaged 300 yards a year less than 3 touchdowns receiving.

generally caught most things thrown to him. Good after the catch. He was never our #1 and with good reason- when you have guys like bowers or ladd or branch there's only so many opportunities. But it feels like he typically did well with them.

he DID play rb when we NEEDED him. When our top 3 RBs were hurt and we basically had no other choice he filled and and did remarkably well considering he's not a RB. Once we started getting healthier he went back to WR. Not sure what there is to nitpick about that.

I don't really agree with this but to each his own

the first half of his career he was barely a 4th or 5th option.

Yes and then he was asked to practice at RB in 2024 season fall practice and pushed back and complained about it hurting his NFL chances.

He's most productive year coincided with our worst offense since Coley. Not a coincidence. He's a 3-4 on college teams which means you get undrafted and a job in the real world in a year or two.

Wide receiver in the NFL is another breed of athlete.

I've heard great things about Bell's athleticism (jet sweeps imply that he has the speed).
But really good in college doesn't move the needle against professionals who do not age out after 4 years.

A lot of fans need to reset expectations for wide receiver recruits to the Pros.
