I don’t know shite about soccer, but seems like a cupcake game for Argentina.

It *should* be but Iceland put on a ridiculous run a few World Cup finals back so anything can happen.

Pretty awesome we are doing this. Should be a big revenue item for the AD.

This is what he was talking about after losing the home game for baylor plus that country concert I guess, but still not ideal to lose that game to Atlanta. Having this in June when the students are not all there would be great for the local businesses

Yea I don't love the Baylor game moving to Atlanta either, but doing so is bringing in a ton of money for the AD, this will probably bring in millions as well. As you mentioned too, a nice boost for the local businesses during the summer. I'd have preferred the game stay in Auburn obviously, but I at least understand the financials behind it.

Curious how Messi will enjoy Sky Bar.

World cup venues are rolling out real grass into these sterile, corporate NFL stadiums with roofs and using lights to simulate the sun.

Meanwhile JHS will have to eliminate crown on field but at least we have grass and the sun

Presale Access

Here is a link to sign up for ticket presale access. Looks like they will go live next week. AU site says they will start at $45.

I have no worries with that as Auburn specializes in that with Agriculture Turfgrass Management

Crown is fine as is. The only adjustments Auburn is having to make is along the sidelines and in the northeast corner. They have to take out some concrete and extend grass to make sure there’s enough room for corner kicks.

June is well within peak season for the Bermuda we throw down anyway. Should be nice and green.

We really need some rain though. Dry spells in April usually lead to hot summers.
