I see posters here insisting that Will Wade sucks and that NC State was ready to find someone better, but when I look at Twitter or YouTube, I see Wolfpack fans burning shirts and destroying memorabilia.

As sorry as Mark Pope has been, even he isn't batting an eye at Will Wade.
We all get it. McMahon sucked and Wade at least had LSU playing competitively. He's a mediocre coach. He WILL have you better than McMahon. He will NOT get you to the promised land.
I honestly don't understand why you'd go through all the trouble to hire a middling coach. That's a shot at LSU and UKs AD both btw.
I do enjoy all of the tPEAR memes though, so in that regard, I'm glad to see him back in Baton Rouge.
If LSU fans are happy then that's great. But being 100% serious here, absolutely no one is worried about this hire. None of us.
